Synopsis: Shilpi, a weathered fisherman in rural Assam, grapples with the loss of his beloved son, Pona, whose violin and cherished books are now haunting reminders. While his wife Thoge fears these objects will bring further misfortune, Shilpi, despite being illiterate, recognizes the value of education and worries about the dwindling fish populations and endangered river dolphins. One day, while Shilpi was away, Thoge sells Ponas belongings to Baharul and his friend, scavenging for scraps. Shilpi returns to find his cherished mementos gone, triggering an outburst that sends him wandering, drawn to the haunting melody of Baharuls folk song and one of his friends trying to play the violin.
