However, a new and far more dangerous threat emerges: the Ash People (Teh’kwèya clan), a fire-worshipping, volcanic Na’vi tribe led by the ruthless chieftain Varang (Oona Chaplin). Unlike the peaceful forest and ocean clans, the Ash People embrace violence and conquest. When Jake’s actions inadvertently spark conflict with this militant clan, Pandora plunges into a three-way war: the Sullys vs. the RDA vs. the Ash People. The story explores themes of grief, cultural clash, the cycle of revenge, and whether peace is even possible on a planet torn apart by different visions of survival.

The Ash People are the biggest addition to Pandora’s lore.
